Louise Williams Billingsley, 71, of Hamlet, passed away Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Richmond County Hospice Haven.

She was born March 22, 1952, in Anson County, daughter of the late William Battle Williams and Annie Rebecca Bowman Williams.

Louise enjoyed attending and was a member of Glenwood United Methodist Church. Spending time in her garden and growing flowers was one of her favorite past times. She was a caretaker to many and loved spending time with her family, including her sisters and her grandchildren. She was a special, caring lady.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alan Billingsley; son, Jeff Billingsley; brother and sister-in-law, Johnny and Libby Williams; and sister, Lynn Williams Taylor.

Louise is survived by her sons, Brad Billingsley (Heather) of Rockingham and Matt Billingsley of Ellerbe; grandchildren, Brice Billingsley, Cierra Robinson, and Brandon Lynch; great-grandchild, Reid Robinson; sisters, Mary-Lois W. Hildreth (Richard) of Polkton, Betty W. Little (Steve) of Wingate, and Rachel Williams of Rockingham; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 30, 2023 from 11:00am-12:00pm at Harrington Funeral Home.

The funeral will immediately follow the visitation, at 12:00pm, in the chapel of Harrington Funeral Home with Rev. Joel Perry officiating. Burial will follow at Richmond County Memorial Park.
