Mrs. Lula Nell Carpenter Kiker, 94, died peacefully on Thursday, November 26, 2015 at her home.
Funeral services will be 1:30PM Monday at Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church with Rev. Dale Bost officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends prior to the service beginning at 1:00PM.
Lula Nell was born in Anson County on July 2, 1921, a daughter of the late Fred Perry and Nezzie Tucker Carpenter. She was married to the late Floyd Mason Kiker. Lula Nell was a homemaker and a longtime faithful member of Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Donna Kiker of Pawleys Island, SC, and Pat Foreman of Wadesboro; one granddaughter, Tricia (Michael) Schtzinger of Greensboro; and two great-grandchildren, Payton and Mason Schtzinger.
Also surviving is her brother, Steve Carpenter and her sister, Frances High both of Ansonville.
The family wishes to thank Crystal Akers, Sammi Hoffer, and Ann Hancock for their devoted love and care in looking after Miss Lula Nell.
