Lurline Nene Mrs. Barksdale

Mrs. Lurline 'Nene' Barksdale age 92 of Newnan, formerly of Wadesboro, NC and Weirton, W. Virginia passed away on June 27, 2013 at Savannah Court. She was born on January 10, 1921 in Auburn, GA. She was preceded in death by husband, William Donaldson Barksdale and parents William Howell Parker and Jennie Mae Clack Parker. Mrs. Barksdale is survived by her children, Steve and Donna Barksdale, Katie and Tom Garrett and Meg and Perry Madich; grandchildren, Andrew Barksdale, Emily Barksdale, Matthew Garrett and Jessica Strobbe, Seth and Lisa Garrett, Rachel and Andrew Bagley, P.J. and Katie Adams and Parker Adams; great-grandchildren, Harlan Garrett, Levi and Asher Adams. Visitation will be held Friday, July 5, 2013 from 12:00 pm till service time. Burial will be on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Eastside Cemetery in Rockingham, NC.
