On Friday, December 21, 2018, while a patient at Carolinas Medical Center Union in Monroe, Miss Ronald Lynn Griffin, 45, passed from this earthly life to be with her Lord and Savior.
She was born September 30, 1973 in Union County, NC a daughter of Sadie Mae Griffin Gaddy and the late George Ronald Ridenhour. She was a graduate of Anson Senior High School and had worked for a number of years in the poultry business.
She was a member of the Power House of Deliverance Church in Wadesboro. She enjoyed singing, playing the organ and spending time with her niece.
Surviving are her mother, Sadie Mae Gaddy of Morven; her sister, Annie Willoughby (David) of Morven; her step-daughter, Tashianna Polk of Morven; her nieces and nephews, Tamesha Griffin, Crystal Griffin, Danielle Willoughby, Carmello Willoughby, Brittney Willoughby, Edward Hudson and Jonathan Hudson; her aunts and uncles, Cathy Griffin of Monroe, Elise Ridenhour of Troy, Larry Threadgill, Marie Mozon, Lucille Ridenhour, Charlie Ridenhour, Raymond Ridenhour all of Albemarle, Margaret Ridenhour of Wadesboro, Karen Klutz (Ted), Mazell Broadway and Cara Staton all of Oakboro, and Ralph Ridenhour and Gerald Ridenhour both of Albany, NY; her special friend, George Jackson of Morven; a special cousin, who was more like a sister and caregiver to Lynn, Deitra Threadgill Warwick (Darryl) of Morven and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 2:00pm Sunday, December 30, 2018 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home.
