Marcia Hildreth Meachum

Lilesville- Mrs. Marcia Hildreth Meachum, 42, died Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Carolinas Medical Center in Pineville. Funeral services will be 11:00am Monday, December 11, 2017 at Lilesville Baptist Church with Rev. Teddy Lawson and Rev. Wayne Whitley officiating. Interment will follow in Lilesville Cemetery. The family will greet friends Sunday evening from 4:00pm until 6:00pm at the funeral home. Marcia was born August 6, 1975 in Anson County, NC a daughter of Lindsey Hamp and Nancy Poplin Hildreth. She was a graduate of Anson Senior High and worked as a dsd receiving manager with Food Lion. Marcia attended Lilesville Baptist Church and will be remembered as a loving mother with a wonderful smile and a kind, gentle spirit. She leaves behind her loving husband, Barry James Meachum of the home; her son, Noah James Meachum and daughter, Abbey Christin Meachum; her parents, Lindsey and Nancy Hildreth of Lilesville; her sisters, Leslie (Junior) Lett of Wadesboro and Kimberly Hildreth of Lilesville; and her grandmother, Minnie Lee Poplin of Lilesville; a special nephew, Jace Lett whom she nicknamed 'Boogie' before he was born. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Robert Poplin.
