Margaret Ann Mrs. Diggs

Mrs. Margaret Ann Diggs was born August 2, 1946 in Anson County, NC a daughter of the late John and Rebecca Polk. She was called home on Sunday, April 10, 2016 at McLeod Health in Cheraw, SC. She was 69. Margaret joined Flat Rock AME Zion Church at an early age and was a graduate of McRae High School in Morven. She was married to Johnnie Diggs and to this union three children were born. She loved her family and was a true friend to all. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her older sister, Roberta Bert Pratt. Those left behind to cherish memories of Margaret are her children, James Polk, Deborah Polk and Lee Diggs; her daughters-in-law, Kelli Kim-Polk, Tanja Diggs and Amelia Polk; her grandchildren, Darren Polk, William Polk, Sr., Jackie Polk, Shaniqua Diggs, Thomas Diggs, Tage Diggs and Tahj Diggs; her great-grandchildren, Dahunna Lillie Polk, William Polk, Jr., Thomas Polk, Damerity Polk and Jaquan Wright; her sister, Johnsie Broussard; her sisters-in-law, Cellie Flowers, Linda Lloyd, Catherine Flowers, Vera Flowers; her brother-in-law, Henry Flowers; her nephew, George Pratt and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Thursday, April 14, 2016 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home in Wadesboro. Interment will follow in Ebenezer Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Morven. The family will greet friends from 1:30pm until 2:00pm Thursday at the funeral home. No service information has been added.
