Margaret Ann Jaffeux Jones

WADESBORO Mrs. Margaret Ann Jeffeux Jones, 79, of Wadesboro and formerly of Rockingham died Friday, March 9, 2018 at Ambassador Rehabilitation and Health Care. The family will greet friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Leavitt Funeral Home. There will be a private graveside service in Lilesville Cemetery. Margaret was born November 17, 1938 in Richmond, VA a daughter of the late Paul Andrew Jeffeux and the late Eleanore Virginia Cordle Jeffeux. She was retired from Hornwood in Lilesville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Charles Jones, and her brothers and sister, Paul Jeffeux, Franklin Jeffeux, and Eleanore Beck. Surviving are her daughters, Sarah (Van) Gulledge and Deborah (Joey Jones) Greene both of Wadesboro, Wanda (Jesse) McQueen of Hamlet and Desiree Smith of Troy; her grandchildren, Scott (Milea) Gulledge, Tina Gulledge, Chesley Greene, Ashley Greene, Michael Smith, Matthew Smith, Ayden Smith, Garrett McQueen and Brooks McQueen; her great-grandchildren, William, Trenton and Kyia Jones, Emma and Aubrey Gulledge and Macy, Gracie and Matt Smith and her stepchildren, Billy Jones of Wadesboro and Ricky (Wendy) Jones of Lilesville. Also surviving are her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Lois Steele of Wadesboro, Doris Ellis of Morrisville, Polly Becker of Finksburg, MD, Gay (Erik) Van Brero of Norwood, Susie Curtiss of Clifton, VA, Bobbie Jones of Rockingham, Jerry Jones of Wadesboro and Clayton (Carolyn) Jones of Grifton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Anson Community and Richmond County Hospice, 1119 US 1 HWY, Rockingham, NC 28379 The arrangements are in care of Leavitt Funeral Home.
