Maria Emelia Lopez Navarrete

Morven - Maria Emelia Lopez Navarrete, 43, of LaVergne, TN and formerly of Morven passed away Friday, November 26, 2021.

There will be a prayer service at 11:30 am Thursday, December 2, 2021, in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home in Wadesboro with Father John Enrique Gonzales Gaitan officiating. Interment will follow in Anson Memorial Park.

She was born January 18, 1978, in Mexico and was the daughter of the late Mateo Lopez and the late Maria Guadalupe Navarrete.

Surviving are her partner, Moises Gonzalez of LaVergne, TN; her daughters, Maria Lopez and Jocelyn Gonzalez both of LaVergne, TN; her sisters and brothers, Teresa Lopez and Miguel Lopez both of Morven, Rosa Lopez, Elena Lopez, Juan Lopez, Luis Lopez, Ismael Lopez and Jose Lopez all of Mexico.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Salvador Lopez.

Maria will always be remembered for her beautiful smile that lit up a room. She could brighten everyone's day and knew how to make others laugh and smile.

She was a loving and devoted, partner, mother, sister and aunt.
