Marie Pait Mrs. Hough

LILESVILLE - Mrs. Marie Pait Hough, 85, died Monday, November 16, 2015, at Ambassador Health and Rehab. Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon Thursday at Fall Branch Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Whitlow officiating. Interment will follow in Anson Memorial Park. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Marie was born in Cumberland County on December 11, 1929, a daughter of the late Ernest Harvey Pait and Mary Elizabeth McRae. She worked in textiles retiring from Gilead Mfg. Survivors include her sister, Jane Turpin of Stanly; her nieces and nephews, including Carol Ann Herring- McDaniel and Donna Lashley; and a special caregiver, Cassie Cox. In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by her husband, John Hough and her son, Kenneth 'Kenny' A. Hough. The arrangements are in care of Leavitt Funeral Home.
