Marie Dawkins Mrs. Lowery

Lilesville - Mrs. Marie Dawkins Lowery, 88, died Saturday, May 24, 2014, while a patient at Ambassador Health and Rehab in Wadesboro. Funeral services will be 11:00AM Monday, May 26, 2014, in Long Pine United Methodist Church with Rev. Stephen Shytle officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends following the service. Marie was born March 6, 1926, a daughter of the late Ed and Myrtle Shepherd Dawkins. She was married to the late J.B. Lowery and was a loving wife and homemaker. She was a faithful member of Long Pine church until her health began to fail. Survivors include a special nephew, Ed Dawkins of Myrtle Beach, SC; a number of other nieces and nephews; and a number of brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
