Marilu Burch Baker

WADESBORO - Mrs. Marilu Burch Baker, 86, died Friday, January 20, 2017 at Autumn Care of Marshville. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at Deep Creek Baptist Church with Rev. D.W. Carpenter and Rev. Steve Eddins officiating. Interment will follow in Anson Memorial Park. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Marilu was born August 22, 1930 in Chesterfield County, SC a daughter of the late Edward Vernon Burch and the late Millie Evelyn Burr Burch Tucker. She attended Deep Creek School and graduated from Wadesboro High School. She was retired from B.C. Moore and Sons and a longtime member of Deep Creek Baptist Church. Surviving are her daughters, Ellen Gibson of the home and Jenny Baker of Ruby, SC. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Carl Baker.
