Morven- Mr. Marion Edward Eddie Wooten 53, died April 26, 2016 at his home in Morven. The family will greet friends from 5:00pm until 7:00pm Sunday, May 1, 2016 at Leavitt Funeral Home in Wadesboro. Eddie was born in Anson County, NC a son of the late James Edward Wooten Jr. and Marialeen Ratliff Wooten. He was employed as a salesman with Iron Horse Motorcycles in Monroe. Surviving are his sister, Kay Wooten of St. Johnbury, Vt., and brother, David Wooten and wife, Gina of Cumming, Ga. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Melton Wooten. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Anson County Animal Shelter, 101 S. Greene St., Wadesboro, NC 28170. The arrangements are in care of Leavitt Funeral Home.
