MORVEN - Marsha Fink Horne, daughter of the late Bruce and Carolyn Fink, was born in Charlotte, NC, on September 7, 1952. She passed away peacefully at her home in Morven, NC, on December 23, 2024, with her devoted husband by her side.
Marsha possessed a truly unique artistic talent. She had a knack for creating beautiful floral arrangements and wreaths from items she collected during her walks in the woods. Her creativity extended beyond this, as she also enjoyed fishing and hunting in her earlier years.
Marsha was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Timmy Crank, a daughter-in-law, Mary Crank, and her brother, Ricky Fink.
She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Gene Horne. Her children include Danny Crank (Nikki) of Keene, NH; stepdaughter Dana Horne (Mickeal Perkins) of Rockingham; and stepdaughter Janice Horne (Andrea Thomas) of Wadesboro. Marsha's brother, Todd Fink (Linda), resides in Denver, NC. She also leaves behind her granddaughter, Paisley Hoge of Charleston, SC; grandsons Owen, Callen, and Caden Crank; and step-grandchildren Karmen Dawkins (Zak) and Hunter Dawkins (Brayla) of Lilesville; Gage Tarlton of New York; Savannah and Gavin Tarlton, both of Wadesboro; as well as great-grandchildren Waylon Taylor and Hadleigh Dawkins of Lilesville. Her brothers-in-law include Charles Horne (Tammy) of Loris, SC; Perry Horne (Terry) of Norman, NC; and Warren Horne of Wadesboro. Marsha will also be remembered by her special nieces and nephews, her close friend and neighbor Carla Murdock, and her beloved cousin Debbie Sutton.
The family warmly invites friends and loved ones to join them on Sunday, January 5th, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. for a time of remembrance and support. The service will follow immediately at 2:00 p.m. at Lilesville Baptist Church, located at 118 Camden St., Lilesville, NC.
