MCFARLAN - Mrs. Mary Etta Lewis Keith, 82, died Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at Carolinas Medical Center Union in Monroe. Funeral services will be 3:00pm Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church with Rev. Larry King officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm Friday, March 4, 2016 at Leavitt Funeral Home and other times at the home. Mary Etta was born May 18, 1933 in Anson County, NC a daughter of the late Johnny Isiah Lewis and the late Emma Jean Tyner Lewis. She was retired from Saconey Mfg. in Cheraw with 31 years of service and was a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church. She is survived by her sister, Doris Whittington of McFarlan and her nieces and nephews and their families. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Walter James Keith and Jim McQuaige and sisters, Laura Phillips, Janie Livingston Moore and Lizzie Griggs.
