MORVEN - Mrs. Mary Harney Northcutt, 76, died Monday, May 6, 2013 at Anson Community Hospital in Wadesboro. Funeral services will be 4:00pm Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church in McFarlan with Rev. Larry King officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service in the church fellowship hall and other times at the home. Mary was born March 14, 1937 in Richmond County, NC a daughter of the late Selby and Rachel Harney. She was homemaker and a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband of 55 years, Med Coleman Northcutt, Sr. of the home; her son, Dr. Jeff Northcutt of Palm Springs, CA' her step-sons, Med (Emeline) Northcutt, Jr. of Wadesboro and Rick Northcutt of Charlotte; her brother, Gene Harney of McFarlan; her granddaughters, Cerise Belk of Greensboro, Kristi Henry of Marshville and Kay (Justin) Edwards of Monroe and 7 great-grandchildren.
