WADESBORO - Miss Mary Josephine Warner, 71, died Sunday, April 15, 2012 at Ambassador Health and Rehab in Wadesboro. Services will be 2:00pm Tuesday, April 17, 2012 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home with Rev. J. A. 'Sonny' Rogers officiating. Interment will follow in Eastview Cemetery. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. Josephine was born May 14, 1940 in Anson County, NC a daughter of the late Paul Thomas Warner and Margie Corinna Coble Warner. She was of the Baptist faith and loved gospel music. Her brother, Paul Thomas Warner, Jr. preceded her in death. Surviving are her nieces, Dorothy Warner (David) Grubb of Monroe and their children, Paul and Luke Grubb and Daphney Warner (Jesse) Torres of Matthews and their children, Heidi and Seth Henderson and her sister-in-law, Linda Braswell Warner of Monroe. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff at Ambassador Health and Rehab for their loving care shown Josephine while she was a resident there since 1999 and essentially being her extended family.
