Brandon Williams

PEACHLAND – On Monday, February 3, 2025, Mr. Michael Brandon Williams, 42, passed away peacefully at McWhorter Hospice House in Monroe, NC. 

 Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, February 7, 2025, at Hopewell Methodist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. 

 The family will greet friends from 6:00 PM until 7:30 PM Thursday, February 6, 2025, at Leavitt Funeral Home and other times at the home of his mother in Marshville. 

 Brandon was born March 30, 1982, in Union County, NC and is a son of Thomas Wyatt Williams and Julia Caudle Potts. He worked as a welder with piping companies in the area. 

 He loved to go hunting and fishing, looking for deer, woodworking with his uncle Robert and most of all time spent with his children. 

 Those who are left to cherish his memory are his children, Eli Williams, Savanna Williams, and Alexis Williams all of Peachland and their mother, Melinda Caudle; his girlfriend, Amber Biggers of Peachland; his mother, Julie Potts of Marshville; his father, Thomas Williams (Melvina) of Morven; his brothers and sisters, Terry Williams of Wadesboro, Brian Williams (April) of Ruby, SC, Jason Williams of Wadesboro, Kim Williams (Derrek) of Lilesville and Mary Carpenter of Wadesboro; his stepbrother and stepsisters, Ken Harris of Ruby, SC, Bobbie Paxton, Melinda Spencer and Jerri Harris all of Wadesboro and his nieces and nephews. 

 He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wiley and Louise Caudle and Maynard and Luree Williams. 

 In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Leavitt Funeral Home, P.O. Box 274, Wadesboro, NC 28170 to assist with expenses.
