POLKTON - Mrs. Mickie Cranford Preslar, 81, died Monday, June 26, 2017 at Presbyterian Hospital Novant Health in Charlotte. Funeral services will be 3:00pm Thursday, June 29, 2017 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Griffin Cemetery. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Thursday. Mickie was born June 14, 1936 in Chesterfield County, SC a daughter of the late James Preston Cranford and the late Lillie Mae Horne Cranford. Surviving are her husband of 65 years, Charles Grover Preslar; her children, Dean (Pam) Preslar of Indian Trail, Terri Preslar (Joe) Ronzo of Salisbury, Chuck (Robin) Preslar of Polkton, Becky Preslar Jones of Marshville and Joel (Betty) Preslar of Polkton; her brother, Bud Cranford of Peachland; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Tommy Preslar; brothers and sisters, Bill Cranford, James Speedy Cranford, Jr., Thelma Jones and Bertha Watson.
