Myra Jackson Crews

Mrs. Myra Jackson Crews, 61, died September 23, 2011 at Orange Park Medical Center in Orange Park, FL. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Friday, September 30, 2011 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Moore officiating. A private interment will be at a later date in Lilesville Cemetery. The family will greet friends Thursday, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home. Myra was born in March 28, 1950 in Bennettsville, SC a daughter of the late James Norman Jackson and Mable Brigman Thomas. She had worked as a tour guide with Anheuser-Busch Brewery in Jacksonville, FL. Myra served as My First Lady of the Clay County Shrine Club in 2003. She was also a Princess with the benevolent organization Daughters of the Nile. Surviving are her husband, Ken Kurt Crews of Orange Park, FL; her children, Trey Gilmore of Hamlet, NC, Mark Crews and wife, Daranda of Clayton, NC, Monte Gilmore of Rocklingham, NC, Andrew Crews and fianc, Natasha of Dublin, OH, and Malia Crews of Beauford, SC; her grandchildren, Noah Crews, Kaycee Gilmore, Ashton Gilmore, Lee Gilmore and Katie Gilmore; her brother and sisters, Gordon Jackson and wife, Judy of Wadesboro, NC, Norma Jean Russell and husband, Ted of Monroe, NC, and Earlene Hall and husband, Mike of Polkton, NC.
