PEACHLAND - Mrs. Ola Mae Stegall Williams, 86, died Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at her home.
Funeral services will be 4:00pm Thursday, August 10, 2017 at Peachland United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Sarah Kalish officiating. Interment will follow in Peachland Cemetery.
The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church and other times at her home.
Ola Mae was born February 2, 1931 in Anson County, NC a daughter of the late Marshall B. Stegall and the late Cora Stogner Stegall. She had worked for a number of years at Ballet Hosiery in Wadesboro and later at Happy Days Daycare in Peachland. She was a faithful member of Peachland United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her children, Joe (Rebecca) Williams of Mt. Gilead, Deborah (Dale) Carelock of Monroe and Bobby (Carol) Williams of Marshville; her son-in-law, David Funderburk of Peachland; her grandchildren, Amy (Jeff) Weddine, Shane (Erin) Carelock, Matt (Katie) Carelock, Justin Williams and Alanna (Cory) Smith; 10 great-grandchildren and her sister, Ruby Cauthen of Marshville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Sanford Williams, Jr. and her daughter, Wendy Funderburk.
