LILESVILLE - Mrs. Patricia Pat Taylor Allen, 66, died Thursday, May 5, 2016 at FirstHealth Richmond Memorial Hospital in Rockingham. Funeral services will be 4:00pm Sunday, May 8, 2016 at Forestville United Methodist Church with Rev. Kaye Fry officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service in the church fellowship hall. Pat was born August 26, 1949 in Anson County, NC a daughter of the late Bruce Baxter Taylor, Sr. and the late Emma Lou Bunn Taylor. She was employed with Anson County Schools and a member of Forestville United Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband of 48 years, John Richard Allen of the home; her son, Jeffrey Dean Allen and partner, Brad Harris of Rock Hill, SC; her daughter, Emily Allen Privette of Mebane; her grandson, Samuel Privette of Mebane and her brother and sisters, Bruce Taylor of Lilesville, Barbara Taylor of Waynesboro, PA and Carol Taylor Norton and husband, Mike of Hamlet. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Forestville United Methodist Church, Back Pack Ministry, % Deborah Moss, 133 Forest Rd., Lilesville, NC 28091. Pats family has requested for those attending the service Sunday to leave your funeral clothes in the closet and dress colorful and casual in celebration of her life.
