MORVEN – On Tuesday, October 29, 2024, Mrs. Patricia Williamson Baldis, 88, passed away peacefully at Atrium Health Anson in Wadesboro.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 6, 2024, in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home with Mr. Ken Caulder officiating. Interment will follow in Morven Cemetery.
The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
Pat was born January 20, 1936, in Anson County, NC and was a daughter of the late William Noah Williamson and the late Pauline Trexler Williamson. She was a graduate of Morven High School.
She was married to the late James Hugh Baldis who made his career with the United States Air Force and Pat was the perfect military wife. Their military life allowed them to travel and see the world. They were stationed in Turkey, Italy, California, Texas, Mississippi, Panama and Greenland. She was active in the NCO Wives Club.
While living in Green Oak, PA, she was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, where she taught Bible school. She served as President of TOPS Club.
Pat was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and proud homemaker. She loved working in her yard and growing beautiful flowers. Her love of flowers was carried down from her mother.
Those who are left to cherish her memory are her son, Audie Baldis and wife, Marilynn of Covington, WA; her granddaughters, Ashley Good and husband, Danny of Renton, WA and Lindsey Baldis of Black Diamond, WA; her great-grandson, Ezra Good; her brother, Paulie “Mike” Williamson of Blythewood, SC; 13 nieces and nephews; 38 great-nieces and nephews and 33 great-great-nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Belinda Robin Baldis and her brothers and sisters, Sadie Campbell, William Edward “Pete” Williamson, Harvey David Williamson, Dewitt Steele Williamson, Noah Lawson “Duckie” Williamson, Julia Moore, Mary Alice Shook, Margie Elizabeth Williamson, Lester Williamson, and Barbara Ann Williamson.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the veteran organization of the donor’s choice.
