Patricia Arlene Pat Ms. Chinn

Wadesboro - Ms. Patricia Arlene 'Pat' Chinn, 77, died Thursday, November 22, 2012 at Woodhaven Court in Albemarle, NC. Funeral services will be 3:00PM Wednesday in Leavitt Funeral Home with Rev. Benny Clodfelter officiating. Interment will follow at a later date in New Albany, IN. Pat was born November 19, 1935 in New Albany, IN, the only child of the late Arlie and Mamie Thomas Chinn. She lived much of her life in St. Petersburg, FL, where she graduated from St. Petersburg High School and attended the University of Florida. She retired from Florida Power, Inc. after thirty-one years of service. Following her retirement, she relocated to Wadesboro where Pat was an active member of the community. She was a partner in the Laughing Ladies retail store in uptown Wadesboro and an active participant of First United Methodist Church. Survivors include her dearest friend and caregiver, Nancy Fuller of Wadesboro. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Western Carolina Chapter, 3800 Shamrock Drive, Charlotte, NC 28215. Leavitt Funeral Home is serving the family.
