Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. 1 Corinthians 15:51-58
On July 4, 1977, Mrs. Patricia Wright Little, affectionately known as Ampy” was born in Anson County, NC and was a daughter of Albert Gene Wright and Shirley Ree Gainey. On Saturday, March 9, 2024, with her family gathered around, she peacefully slipped away to be with her Lord and Savior in the comfort of her home. She bravely and courageously fought a battle against cancer and because of her faith and trust in Jesus, she was victorious over the battle and she has a new and glorified body.
She attended Madison Grove Missionary Baptist Church, where she sang with the choir and was a faithful member for many years.
Patricia was a 1995 graduate of Anson Senior High School. She also received certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant and a Med Tech. She worked for 21 years with Wadesboro Nursing Home through many name changes and lastly, Wadesboro Health and Rehab. She was last employed as a correctional officer at Lanesboro Correctional Institute in Polkton until her health began to decline.
She had many passions, all of which brought so much peace and joy in her life. She loved to take advantage of the time to pamper herself and decorate her home, however, her greatest joys were spending time with her loving family and many friends but especially her granddaughter, “Blueberry.”
Those left to cherish her memory are her devoted husband of 21 years, Undra Little; her loving children, Undra Little, Jr., Daqwon Wright both of the home; her daughter, Audrey Rorie of Concord; her precious granddaughter, E’moni Noelle Wright “Blueberry”; her loving and devoted mother, Shirley Wright of Morven; her loving father, Albert Wright (Debby) of Lilesville; her loving father-in-law and mother-in-law, Rev. Garry and Mae Ruth Little of Morven; her adoring sisters, Sharon Sturdivant of Morven, Stephanie Little (Issac) of Morven, Vionita LeGrande (Terry) of Wadesboro, Shelia Wright (Joe) of Morven and Nancy Melton (Marcus) of Wadesboro; her loving brother, Freddie Sellers of Wadesboro; her brother-in-law, Derrick Little of Morven; her sister-in-law, Cordelia Edwards of Greensboro; two uncles, five aunts and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
