Patricia 'Patty' Wilhoit Wright, 39, died Saturday, June 18, 2011. Funeral services will be 11:00am Wednesday, June 22, 2011 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home with Mr. Brian Benton and Rev. Tommy McKenzie officiating. Interment will follow in Anson Memorial Park. The family will greet friends tonight (Tuesday) from 7:00pm until 9:00pm at the funeral home. Patty was born July 18, 1971 in Richmond County, NC a daughter of the late Charles Lee Wilhoit and the late Donna Christine Robbins Cassidy. She was employed with Medical Specialties in Wadesboro. Surviving are her daughter, Hayley Wright of Lilesville; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Billy and Sandy Wilhoit of Polkton and Mike and Melissa Wilhoit of Morven; her step-brother and sister-in-law, Brian and Christy Benton of Rockingham; and her nieces, Robin Wilhoit of Wadesboro, Daivah Young of Rockingham, Amber Wilhoit of Oakboro, Christy McFalls of Maggie Valley, Brandi Goldsmith of Polkton, Michael Greene and Laura Rogers both of Wadesboro. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wright Family, P.O. Box 274, Wadesboro, NC 28170. The arrangements are in care of Leavitt Funeral Home.
