Paul Lewis Shorts

- Mr. Paul Lewis Shorts, aka, 'Dirty Old Man', 73, died suddenly Sunday, June 12, 2011, in Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte, NC. Funeral services will be 2:00PM Thursday in Leavitt Funeral Home with Rev. Brad Lewis officiating. The family will greet friends on Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00PM. Mr. Shorts was born October 25, 1937, a son of the late Levi and Sada Redding Shorts. He was retired after 45 years of truck driving. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be missed by his family and friends. Survivors include his wife, Frances Ward Shorts of the home; his children, Paul (Ann) Shorts Jr. of Raeford, Cheri (John Paul) Oxendine of Morven, Kim Shorts of Morven, Vernon (Eleanor) Shorts of Newport News, VA, Mark (Loretta) Shorts of Shannon, Daniel (Dolly) Shorts of Morven and Tracy Lowery of Cheraw, SC.
