Paul Deberry Barry Mr. Thompson, III

WADESBORO - Mr. Paul Deberry Barry Thompson, III, 63, of Chesterfield, SC and formerly of Wadesboro died Friday, February 26, 2016 at Dundee Manor in Bennettsville, SC. There will be a memorial service at 7:00pm Wednesday, March 2, 2016 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the Sheppard home on Shiloh Church Road in Morven. Barry was born February 7, 1953 in Anson County, NC a son of the late Paul Deberry Thompson, Jr and the late Ruth Vaughn Cloninger. He had worked as a truck driver and one time at Cannon Mills. Surviving are his wife, Patricia Lett Thompson of the home; his daughters, Pamela Sheppard of Morven and Michelle Goodwin and fiance, Shaun Runyan of Wadeboro; his grandchildren, Thomas Sheppard and wife, Rhiannon of Norwood , Brittany Goodwin and fiance, Nick Gulledge, Bianca Goodwin and Ivy Adams all of Wadesboro; his great-grandchildren, Skylar and Jacob Sheppard; his sister, Joyce Ray and husband, Don of Midland and Jerry Cloninger of High Point. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff at Dundee Manor for the excellent and loving care they gave Barry while he was a resident there.
