Pauline Garris Davidson Davis

Trinity - Mrs. Pauline Garris (Davidson) Davis, 98, formerly of Pageland, SC and Wadesboro, NC, departed this life for eternity on Monday, February 20, 2017. Pauline devoted her life to serving her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and to her dear family. She was a current member of Conrad Memorial Baptist Church in High Point and a longtime former member of Providence Baptist Church in Pageland, SC, where she served in many capacities, including Associational WMU Director. Pauline was married to Robert Lee Davidson for almost 60 years and to Elijah Davis for six years, both of whom preceded her in death. She leaves to cherish her memories: a son, Gene Davidson and his wife, Marsha, of Columbia, SC; a daughter, Elizabeth Gulledge Taylor and her husband, Herman of Trinity; 6 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are three siblings, Julian Garris and Eunice Jordan both of Wadesboro, and Margaret Tucker of High Point. A service to celebrate Paulines life will be held at 2:00PM Thursday, in Providence Baptist Church of Pageland, SC with burial following in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends in the church one hour before the service beginning at 1:00PM.
