Peggy Henry Baker

Mrs. Peggy Henry Baker, 79, died Tuesday, December 12, 2017, at Pruitt Health in Monroe. Funeral services will be 3:00PM Friday at Leavitt Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Eastview Cemetery. The family will greet friends prior to the service beginning at 2:00PM. Peggy was born in Anson County on July 8, 1938. She was a daughter of the late Leola McRae Henry and grew up in the Wadesboro community. In 1956 she married the love of her life, Mr. Bryant Baker, and for the next sixty-two years they had a wonderful time together meeting the challenges that life threw their way. Peggy enjoyed all that life had to offer, especially music and social activities, but always loved her family best. Survivors include her husband, Bryant Baker of the home; a daughter, Donna B. Seagraves (Terry) of Charlotte; three grandchildren, Chris (Bridget), Brittney, and Ashley; seven great-grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law, Becky Baker of Raleigh. Peggy was preceded in death by three children, Vicky Gail Baker, Ronnie Baker, and Bryant Baker Jr. Memorials may be made to the charity of ones choice.
