WADESBORO- Mr. Ralph Neal Pegram, Sr., 69, died Wednesday, April 18, 2012 in Carolinas Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 2:00PM Saturday, in Bethany Freewill Baptist Church with Dr. Tom Parrish and Rev. Jeff Goudelock officiating. Interment will follow in Anson Memorial Park. The family will greet friends Friday from 7:00pm until 9:00pm at Leavitt Funeral Home.
Ralph was born in Anson County on August 30, 1942, a son of the late Walter and Clara Hooks Pegram. He worked a number of years at Rayfield's Meat Center and then retired from Wade Manufacturing Co. with 25 years of service. He was a member of Bethany Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Frances Mauldin Pegram of the home; his children, David Pegram of Pageland, SC, Neal Pegram and Sandra Pegram both of Wadesboro; brother, Glenn Pegram and wife, Libby of Ansonville; and two special friends, Robert Leaird of Pageland, SC, and Linda Ratliff of Cason Old Field.
In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by his brother and sister, Bill Pegram and Lois Osborne.
