POLKTON - Mrs. Rebecca Funderburke Moore Baker, 76, died Sunday, May 6, 2012 at her home.
Funeral services will be 3:00pm Tuesday, May 8, 2012 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home, Wadesboro with Rev. Jeff Goudelock officiating. Interment will follow in Anson Memorial Park.
The family will greet friends one hour prior to the services on Tuesday and other times at the Kelly home in Wadesboro.
Rebecca was born December 30, 1935 in Anson County, NC a daughter of the late Stephen B. Funderburke and Minnie Hart Vaughn Funderburke. She was a member of Poplar Hill United Methodist Church and worked for many years as a private duty in home care giver.
Surviving are her children, Kay (Neal) Thomas of Polkton, Stephen Moore of Iowa, Mary Ann (Marvin) Rodgers of Monroe and Norma Jean (Steven) Kelly of Wadesboro; her grandchildren, Michael Thomas of Gastonia, Eric Thomas of Greenville, Joseph Horton and Franklin Jones both of Polkton, Bobby and Brandon Maness both of Monroe, Milea Thuleen and Timothy and Christopher Kelly all of Wadesboro; her great-granddaughter, Katherine Claire Thomas of Gastonia and her brothers and sister, Jack Funderburke and Mary Carpenter both of Wadesboro and Harold Funderburke of Morven. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gene K. Moore and by her brothers, James and Clyde Funderburke and her infant sister, Sarah.
