Ansonville - On Thursday, December 30, 2021, Mrs. Rebecca "Becky" Caudle Martin, 62, passed away peacefully at Meadowview Terrace Assisted Living in Wadesboro.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am Friday, January 7, 2022, in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home in Wadesboro with Rev. Rocky Carpenter officiating. Interment will follow in the Caudle Family Cemetery in Polkton.
The family will greet friends from 6:00 pm until 7:30 pm on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at the funeral home.
Becky was born November 5, 1959 in Mecklenburg County, NC and was a daughter of the late Jimmy Nelson Caudle and the late Myrtle Jameson Caudle. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenny Martin.
She was a 1978 graduate of Bowman High School. She had worked for the Town of Peachland and later retired from Tractor Supply in Wadesboro.
Becky was a part of the congregation at Harmony Community Church in Peachland where she sang in the choir and worked in the children's Sunday school department. She dearly loved her church family.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Karen Martin and Kyle Martin both of Ansonville; her grandchildren, Riley Jones of Ansonville and Benzlee Martin of Wadesboro; her sister, Sharon Smotherman (Mark) of Clemson, SC and her niece and nephew, Sara Beth Smotherman and John Mark Smotherman both of Greenville, SC.
She enjoyed time spent with her family at the Jameson Family Homeplace in Crumpler and making crafts.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Harmony Community Church, 1984 Pulpwood Yard Rd, Peachland, NC 28133.
