CHARLOTTE - On Friday, May 10, 2024, Mr. Richard Stephen Kelly, 72, passed away at Carolina Continue Care in Charlotte.

There will be a graveside service with military honors at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at Anson Memorial Park.

He was born August 20, 1951 in Anson County, NC and was a son of the late Rev. Edmond Lloyd Kelly and the late Rena Eddins Kelly. He was a graduate of Anson High School and Wingate University. 

A veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Vietnam War.

He retired as a project manager with Ceridian in Charlotte. He was proud of his accomplishment as a licensed airplane pilot and enjoyed traveling.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his close friend, Abraham Isaacs and his daughter, Willow.
