Richard Vester Lowery, Jr.

WADESBORO – Mr. Richard Vester Lowery, Jr., 58, died Monday, August 30, 2021, at Atrium Health Union in Monroe.

There will be a memorial service at 3:00pm Friday, September 3, 2021, in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home.

The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service on Friday.

Richard was born October 5, 1962, in Anson County, NC and was a son of the late Richard Vester Lowery and the late Judy Hammond Lowery.

He was a graduate of Bowman High School, a veteran of the United States Navy and was employed with INA Bearing in Cheraw, SC.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Tammy Carpenter Lowery; his children, Jessica Lowery of Aquadale, Ashley Lowery and Christopher Lowery both of Wadesboro; his grandchildren, Cami, Kaden, River and Kinsley; his sisters and brother, Penny Lee and Lee Lowery both of Lilesville and Susan Brigman of Peachland; his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Debbie Tyson (Albert), Larry Carpenter (Carol) and Mitchell Carpenter all of Wadesboro, Sandra Eddins (Kerwin) of Morven and Ann Martin (Tommy) of Hartsville, SC and his nieces and nephews and their families.
