MORVEN Mr. Robin "Robbie" Eugene Henry, 56, died Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at his home. There will be a memorial service at 3:00pm Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Morven Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Threatt officiating. The family will greet friends following the service. Robbie was born May 15, 1961 in Chesterfield County, SC a son of the late John R. "Rusty" Henry and the late Shelby Jean Lee Henry. He had worked for a number of years as a meat cutter and later in construction and was a member of Morven Baptist Church. Prior to the death of his father, he was an active member of the Morven Hunt Club and enjoyed fishing, as well. Surviving are his children, Russell "Rusty" Henry of Morven and Jennie Henry of Wilmington, CA; his brother and sisters, Johnny (Terry) Henry of Monroe, Melanie Henry of Morven and Susan (Leon) Cole of Wadesboro and his nieces and nephews and their families and his beloved dog, Prissy. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Morven Baptist Church, P.O. Box 337, Morven, NC 28119. The arrangements are in care of Leavitt Funeral Home.
