Jeff was born in Memphis, TN on March 9, 1952, a son of Sue Turner Rodgers Gossett and the late Robert Carlton Rodgers. In 1996, Aramark sent Jeff to Wadesboro as Director of Support Services for Anson Community Hospital, a position he held until 2015. Jeff and his wife, Renee, fell in love with the area and became an integral part of the Wadesboro community. Currently an employee with Valley Proteins, Jeff was a member of Anson Countys Board of Health. He was Past Chair of the Anson County Chamber of Commerce, a diligent worker for the Boy Scouts of America through their Friends of Scouting campaigns and started and maintained an Explorer Post at the hospital for high school persons interested in a healthcare career. An all-around good guy, Jeff was always interested in helping those less fortunate than himself.
