Ronald F. Mr. Martin

Mr. Ronald F. Martin, 68, died Saturday, March 8, 2014. Funeral services will be 2:00PM Wednesday, March 12, 2014, at Leavitt Funeral Home with Rev. Kaye Fry officiating. Interment will follow in the Savannah United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends prior to the service beginning at 1:00PM. Ronald was born in Anson County on January 23, 1946, a son of the late Wilson Martin and Evelyn Poplin Martin. He worked a number of years for Bowater and more recently as a greeter at Walmart. Survivors include two children, Cory Martin of Lilesville and Kristie Martin Finger and her husband, Jon, of Kannapolis; five grandchildren, Alyssa Martin, Wesley Martin, Sophia Finger, Noah Finger and Savannah Finger. Ronald was preceded in death by a grandchild, Carrie Cheyanne Downer. Leavitt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
