Ronald Bernard Ronnie Mr. Short

Wadesboro - Ronald Bernard Ronnie Short, departed his earthly life on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at Carolinas HealthCare System Anson in Wadesboro. He was born September 11, 1961 in Thomasville, NC to the late James Frank and Fannie L. Short. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Senora Short Weems, grand-daughter, Tamia Weems and nephew, Tim Short. Ronnie worked many years for James Fall Roofing in Charlotte, NC and later returned to Lilesville, where he faithfully worked with Pastor Michael Chambers and Uncle Charlie until his health declined. Ronnie leaves to cherish his memories, a daughter, Tameka Short Twiss and son-in-law, Edgar; 4 grandchildren, Marco Roman, Seiquoya Dabney, Jayveron Dabney and Shantelle Twiss all of Clarkville, TN. In addition to his daughter and grandchildren, he also leaves behind, 3 brothers, James (Juanita) Short of Lilesville, Willie (Beatrice) Short of Marshville and Johnny (Otis) Short of the home; 3 sisters, Teresa Short and fiance, Timmy Harris of Wadesboro, Phyllis (Bruce) Betsill of Spartenburg, SC and Fannie (Dee) Crump of the home; 8 nieces, Ashley, Tay, Trena, Kandice, Stephanie, Rose, Farrah and Levenia; 5 nephews, Marcus, Stacy, Jarvis, Kris, and Jeremy; 9 aunts, 2 uncles and a host of cousins and friends, including, a special friend, Bertha Rorie, close and devoted friends, Tony, Pastor Michael Chambers and Uncle Charles. The family of Ronald Bernard Ronnie Short would like to express their sincere appreciation for the many kind acts of sympathy shared with them during their time of bereavement. They would also like to thank all who contributed to Ronnies care so lovingly, especially Hospice of Union County. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Tuesday, June 7, 2016 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Henry Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Lilesville..
