PEACHLAND Mrs. Rose Ann Parker Thomas, 69, died Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at Carolinas Medical Center Mercy in Charlotte. Funeral services will be 4:00pm Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Mineral Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Tony High and Rev. Clay Burr officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church. Rose Ann was born February 23, 1948 in Union County, NC a daughter of the late Clayton Lee Parker and the late Annabelle Walters Parker. She was a homemaker and was an excellent cook and enjoyed seeing others enjoy the meals she prepared. She and her late husband, Graham Thomas enjoyed playing cards together. A loving mother, she is survived by her children, Wayne Taylor of New Salem, Saundra Taylor of Polkton, Nancy "Paula" Taylor Shaw of Wadesboro, David Taylor (April) of Peachland, Monty Taylor (Margie) of Cherry Grove, SC, Mark Taylor of New Salem and Ray Taylor (Leigh) of Peachland; her sisters, Rachel Mullis of Monroe and Mildred Hildreth of Waxhaw; 17 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
