Mr. Russell Edward Tiffany, Jr, 65, died Sunday, January 8, 2012 in Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. Private graveside services will be Wednesday, January 11, 2012 in Anson Memorial Park with Rev. Randy Swearengin officiating. Friends may call on the family at the Layfield Home on Nottingham Way, Wadesboro. Russell was born December 24, 1946 in Anson County, NC a son of the late Russell Edward and Evelyn Gregory Tiffany. He was a self-employed carpenter and was well-known for his carpentry skills. He loved fishing, camping and his dogs. A loving father, grandfather, brother and friend, he is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Pam and Paul 'Sandy' Layfield of Wadesboro, Gwen and Hoy Lanning of Mt. Gilead and Lauren and Tom Sellers of Lilesville; his grandchildren, Madison and Parker Layfield both of Wadesboro, Sarah and Samuel Lanning both of Mt. Gilead and Maverick and Liberty Sellers both of Lilesville; his brothers and sister-in-law, Charles and Linda Tiffany of Matthews and Robbie Tiffany of Wadesboro; his sister and brother-in-law, Janet and Lark Roan of Panama City, FL and his nieces and nephews and their families.
