Sara Funderburke Holder

WADESBORO - On Saturday, November 26, 2022, Mrs. Sara Funderburke Holder, 60, passed away peacefully at Atrium Health Union in Monroe.

There will be a memorial service at 6:00 PM Wednesday, November 30, 2022, in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home.

The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.

Interment will be private at a later date.

Sara was born September 3, 1962, in Anson County, NC, and was a daughter of the late John Davis "Jack" Funderburke and the late Elmyra Williams Funderburke. She was formerly employed with the Anson County Department of Social Services.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Jennifer Harward of Wadesboro; her grandsons, Dylan McKowen and Chase Harward both of Wadesboro; her sister and brother-in-law, Robin and Chuck Preslar of Polkton; her nephew and niece, Chuck Preslar and wife, Alysha of Denver and Casi Cannaday and husband, Cody of Morven and her great-niece, Cailin Cannaday.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Jackie Myra Funderburke.

The family requests contributions are made to Leavitt Funeral Home, P.O. Box 274, Wadesboro, NC 28170 to assist with funeral expenses.
