Sarah Ricketts Pratt

Wadesboro Mrs. Sarah Ricketts Pratt, 96, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 20, 2017, at Woodridge Assisted Living in Monroe, NC. Funeral services will be 11:30AM Friday at Leavitt Funeral Home with Rev. Donald Wallace officiating. Interment will follow at Anson Memorial Park. The family will greet friends prior to the service from 10:30 to 11:30AM. Mrs. Pratt was born in Anson County on August 22, 1921, a daughter of the late Clifton Eugene Ricketts and Lillian Hudson Ricketts. She was a lifetime member of Mt. Beulah Baptist Church and was retired from the West Knitting Co. Survivors include three children, Angela Pratt Byrd of Enterprise, AL, Vivian Pratt Reynolds (Bill) of Midland, and Ernie Pratt (Sandra) of Mint Hill; 6 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Pratt was preceded in death by 7 siblings, Elsie Hannah, Evan Ricketts, Gene Ricketts, Ruth Lear, Naomi Parker, Bonnie Honeycutt, and Daniel Ricketts.
