Shelby Leigh Harrington

Polkton Miss Shelby Leigh Harrington, age 24, died suddenly on January 4, 2018, at her home. Funeral services for the public will be held 2:00PM Saturday, January 6, 2018, at Leavitt Funeral Home with Rev. Angel Christ and Rev. Jeff Medford officiating. There will be no visitation and interment will be private. Shelby was born in Richmond County on September 22, 1993, a daughter of Monica and Tim Harrington. She graduated from Anson High School and was working at the Derby Restaurant in Monroe. Survivors include her parents, Tim and Monica Harrington of Polkton; two brothers, Brandon Meggs and Dalton Meggs both of Polkton; paternal grandmother, Eloise Harrington of Polkton; maternal grandfather, Randall Bartram of West Virginia; two very special nieces, Kylie and Payton Meggs; and a number of uncles, aunts and cousins.
