WADESBORO - Mrs. Shirley Ann Russell Huntley, 80, went to meet her Lord on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Lake Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Indian Trail. Services will be 11:00am Tuesday, November 17, 2015 by the graveside in Full Gospel Community Church Cemetery, Sunset Street, Norwood with Rev. Buddy Pigg officiating. The family will greet friends following the service. Shirley was born October 13, 1935 in Anson County, NC a daughter of the late Otto and Annie Privette Russell. She was a 1955 graduate of Morven High School and was the salutatorian of her class. She worked at Burlington Hosiery, Chic Hosiery, Brevoni and Anson Shirt Factory before retiring at the age of 62. Surviving are her twin daughters, Linda and Brenda Huntley; her son, Bobby Huntley; her brother, Lloyd Russell; her son-in-law, Greg; her grandchildren, Jonathan, Brandon, Matthew and Mariah and a special niece, Wanda and many other nieces and nephews and their families. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce and brothers and sister, James, Charles, Johnny and Doris. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lake Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 3315 Faith Church Rd., Indian Trail, NC 28079. The arrangements are in care of Leavitt Funeral Home.
