WADESBORO - Mr. Spare Hildreth, 74, died Friday, June 7, 2013 at Carolinas Medical Center Union in Monroe.
Funeral services will be 2:00pm Tuesday, June 11, 2012 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home with Rev. Beverly Wilson and Rev. Randy Brooks officiating. Interment will follow in the Hildreth Cemetery.
The family will greet friends on Monday, June 10, 2013 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home and other times at the home.
Spare was born October 5, 1938 in Anson County, NC a son of the late Paul and Linnie Mae Williams Hildreth. He was the owner and operator of Spare Hildreth and Son Septic Tank Service and attended New Life Ministries Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Surviving are his children, Wanda Kay Adams of Chesterfield, SC, Tammy Kantner of Wadesboro, Robin Sawyer of Canton, Sean Hildreth, Shannon Hildreth, Adam Hildreth, Samuel Hildreth, Jeremy 'Tot' Hildreth and Tonya Hildreth all of Wadesboro; his brother and sisters, David Hildreth, Dora Sellers, Rena Garrison and Martha Gulledge all of Wadesboro; 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Josephine Hildreth, a grandson George Katner and by his brothers and sisters, Paul, John, Benjamin and James Hildreth and Linnie Mae Hannah and Eunice Honeycutt.
