WADESBORO - Mr. Stephen Timothy Braswell, 58, died Tuesday, June 25, 2013 in Charlotte, NC. The family will greet friends on Friday, June 28, 2013 from 3:00pm until 4:30pm at Leavitt Funeral Home with services following by the graveside in Eastview Cemetery. The family will be at the home of his brother in Norwood. Tim was born May 24, 1955 in Anson County, NC a son of the late Sidney Carlyle and Ida Elizabeth Myers Braswell. He was employed with McCollum Trucking and Grading. Surviving are his sister and brother-in-law, Anne and Vic McGee of Wilmington and his brother and sister-in-law, Sidney and Pat Braswell of Norwood; his nieces and nephew, Melinda McGee (Paul) Chipley of Wrightsville Beach, Sarah Braswell of Raleigh and Stephen Braswell of Brooklyn, NY; his aunt, Louise Shepherd of Wadesboro; his cousin, Beth Rogers of Wadesboro and his beloved canine companion, Jessie. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Samaritan Colony, 136 Samaritan Dr Rockingham, NC 28379 or the Anson County Council on Alcoholism, P.O. Box 1078, Wadesboro, NC 28170.
