Sue Ann Ms. Mosher

WADESBORO - Sue Ann Mosher, 68, drifted peacefully into Heaven on Thursday, May 28, 2015 after fighting a long, courageous battle with colon cancer. Born January 23, 1947 in Altoona, PA, Sue was the fourth child of Helen Lucille and Harry R. Mosher. Sue worked most of her life in retail in Philadelphia and Altoona, PA and, most recently, in Wadesboro, NC where she retired from Wal-Mart in 2008. After retiring, Sue enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, doing crafts, watching tv, and going to the beach. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law Lisa and Thom Smothers, her beloved grandchildren Aliah, Garet, Megan, and Sadie Smothers, all of Wadesboro, NC; her sister Kaye Franklin of New Castle, DE; nephews James Franklin and Paul Mosher and niece Christine McArdle. Because we know how hard it is for children to deal with the loss cancer brings into your life, the family is collecting donations to purchase Cuddle Bear books and teddy bears for the grandchildren of other cancer patients receiving treatment at the Levine Cancer Center.
