Tammy Hildreth Kantner

WADESBORO - On Sunday, January 22, 2023, Mrs. Tammy Hildreth Kantner, 62, passed away peacefully at Atrium Health Union in Monroe.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Thursday, February 2, 2023, in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Hildreth Cemetery.

The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.

Tammy was born September 3, 1960, in Chesterfield County, SC, and was a daughter of the late Spare Hildreth and the late Josephine Jeanette Oliver Hildreth. She attended Anson County Public Schools and was a homemaker.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 44 years, George L. Kantner; her beloved dog, Baby Girl; her sisters and brothers, Robin Sawyer (Gary) of Canton, Sean Hildreth (Amy), Adam Hildreth and Tanya Hildreth all of Wadesboro and Jeremy "Tot" Hildreth of Lilesville; her brother-in-law, Delbert Adams of Chesterfield, SC and her nieces and nephews and their families.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, "Little George" and her sister and brothers, Wanda Adams, Shannon Mark Hildreth, and Samuel "Sambo" Hildreth.
