ROGERSVILLE, TN - Mrs. Theresa Lynn Mottern Tyson, 62, died December 23, 2015 at Holston Valley Meical Center in Kingsport, TN. Graveside services will be 2:00pm Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Eastview Cemetery in Wadesboro. She was born February 14, 1953 in Johnson City, TN a daughter of the late Robert Luther Mottern and the late Doris Jeanette Barrett Mottern. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Dale Tyson. Surviving are her children, Hope (Travis) Tyson of Seattle, WA, Dale (Tammy) Tyson of Monroe and Charity (Doug) McMinn of Gastonia; grandchildren, Jessica Tyson, Misty (Greg) Nelson, Jason Swanson, Briana Tyson, Austin Tyson, Dylan Beam, Finn McMinn and Hadley McMinn; great-grandchildren, Zoey, James and Rebakah Nelson; her sister, Shelia Woodby of Rogersville, TN and her cousins, nieces, nephews and their families.
