Wadesboro - Mr. Thomas Gordon Ingram, 80, died Friday, February 21, 2020 at Quail Haven Village in Pinehurst.
Funeral services will be 2:00pm Monday, February 24, 2020 at Forestville United Methodist Church with Rev. Sybil Perrell and Rev. Bobby Fletcher officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will greet friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.
Gordon was born October 19, 1939 in Richmond County, NC a son of the late John Edmund Ingram and the late Esther Lee Gordon Ingram. He was a graduate of Lilesville High School and Wingate College. He was retired from Alltel Communications as an engineer with 39 years of service.
Surviving are his daughters and sons-in-law, Jill Ingram Holloman and Kenny of Hope Mills and Nicole Ingram Brower and Richard of Aberdeen; his grandchildren, Kaylee Dale Hall of Wilmington, Nicholas Anthony Hall of Hope Mills and Olivia Marie Brower of Aberdeen; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Carol Ingram of Huntersville, Mike and Kathy Ingram of Sanford and Joe Ingram of Bennettsville, SC; and his nieces and nephews and other extended family members and dear friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Shirley Cox Ingram; and infant son, Ashley Vaughn Ingram.
